Documentation

Canada Customs requires that you carry a passport when travelling outside Canada. Other destinations may require visas or further paper work. Please be sure you bring the appropriate documents upon checking in. After all, we want every part of your journey to go smoothly.

 

Restricted articles

For the safety of our passengers and the environment, there are some items we cannot carry on our aircraft or which require special handling. Below is a list of items forbidden on any flight by North Cariboo Air. For further information on what is prohibited, please visit Transport Canada's website.

  • Explosives including fireworks, flares, etc. (except small arms ammunition)
  • Security-type attaché cases containing dangerous goods such as pyrotechnic devices, etc.
  • Electro shock weapons including Tasers that contain dangerous goods such as explosives, compressed gases, lithium batteries, etc.
  • Strike anywhere matches
  • Flammable gas cylinders
  • Flammable liquids: paint, petrol, lighter refills, solvents, varnish, etc.
  • Flammable solids: firelighters, Chinese lanterns, etc.
  • Substances liable to spontaneous combustion like Phosphorous
  • Substances that emit flammable gases when they come in contact with water and/or oxidizing materials: bleach, peroxides, some fertilizers, etc.
  • Corrosives materials: acids, alkalis, wet cell batteries, etc.
  • Toxic (poisonous) substances: weed killer, insecticides, etc.
